Default Sell books on Ebay?

Has anyone ever sold books on Ebay? I'm trying to determine if it's more profitable to sell over Ebay, or bring my books to a secondhand bookstore to sell.
I have a ton of books that I've already read and no longer need.

Thanks for your input!

I've sold books at eBay, but mostly I use half.com. To me it depends on the title. There are certain titles that seem to attract more bidders, whereas other books i'm lucky if they sell for two or three dollars. At half.com, it is free to list your books, but they take a percentage out when the books sell. At eBay, you pay to list and then pay a fee if they sell.

I also use half.com to sell my books. I've noticed that books tend to sell alot faster through half than Ebay and you don't have to worry about selling your $40.00 book for $3.99

I've sold a bunch through Amazon.com I've found that to be really easy. A great place to look for used books is at www.bestbookbuys.com I've used that for price shopping before I'll put a price on mine.
