I am looking for a cheap way to clean the rust and dust off my old tin doll house so I can give it to my DD. I looked up cleaning and most sites recomend superfine steel wool, or a raw potato dipped in whiting. I have a potato but I have no idea what whiting is?

Thanks
. We managed to take the bottom of the house off so it should be a lot easier to get to the rust, to get it off. |
