I go to diettalk.com . There are forums for everything from diets to exercise and online journals. The membership is high so there are always people to bounce ideas and questions off of.
What sort of info are you looking for? I've tried it all so maybe I can help you out with some info

There are some Yahoo groups for weight loss, free of charge but no professionals.

Also The simplest diet and the one that lost my father almost 200lbs was similar to the change one. You pick one unhealthy habit and remove it or preferably replace it each week or month, depending on how good you are at change. Then at the end of the year you will be amazed at how easily your lifestyle has changed for the healthier. I have no idea why readers digest wanted a whole book to say that! it is really that simple. (Honest Dad and I did it long before readers digest came out with their expensive version)

What you change might require a little research, but in general we all know there is too much bad for you in pop, or coffee, Oreos, and rocky road, sedentary lifestyles and taking the elevator all the time. And we all no practically no one gets enough vegetables!

The plan is 100% customizable because you decide what you are willing to work on each week. So long as you are honest with yourself (a journal of your new habit helps), you should see results, and there should be no crash and burn troubles. But this is not a magic pill; it is a slow gradual change of lifestyle, NOT to "fast your way into a bikini in two months time". (Though seeing as bikini season is right around the corner wouldn't that be nice .)

Anyway to borrow a flylady phrase, your body didn't get this way overnight, it aint gonna get the way you want it overnight. In my experience with pregnancy it was 9 months up and a year back down! I have hopes of shortening that time, but not having any willpower I find it hard .

The biggest thing is baby steps, like flylady, small manageable changes, don't ban all sugar, just replace one snack a day with something healthy, then another, then if you are me another and another . Don't decide to work out 1 hour a day from nothing, go for 15 minutes or so. And schedule it! Big bold letters on whatever you will look at, the fridge or the front door, anywhere you need it.

I use the concept still, I have gotten my waist back after both kids and actually look and feel better now than before my first. Two sizes smaller, way better legs, and I actually find myself better in tune with my body and how much sugar is running around, sometimes I actually listen and don't eat the 5th Oreo (Sometimes I finish the bag, and pay for it .).
Also healthier hair, skin, and face (though not perfect, just healthier)

Also in my research for what to change or improve I have discovered that breakfast really is important, and around 400 calories of it, preferably form protein and complex carbs, not simple sugars like most cereals. Actually all meals aught to be that way, but do not go trying to fix all three (or if me all 4) meals in one week! Just slow and gradual, I know I prolly sound like a broken record but you didn't get those eating habits overnight, you worked on them for however many years, give yourself some time.

Hope that helps not irritates.

I believe the most frugal way would be to not eat. :P

Have a look at myfrugalfitness, I haven't had a chance to look at their site much, but a friend of mine just mentioned it to me recently.
