Default Redeeming Expired Gift Vouchers

Im a newbie here, so hi to everyone

I have a couple of voucher that has expired (one just out of date, the other a few months) from a chain store. Just wondering has anyone been able to convince the store to redeem the vouchers? What did you say?

Im finding it hard to just accept the fact I can't use them anymore

New laws have gone into effect. In some states, such as Missouri, the gift cards can't expire or have fees charged against them. I would sure call the stores and ask.

I agree. Even if they have an expiration date printed on them, they may not actually expire. I'd go in and ask. Speak to a manager, not just a cashier.

I had a voucher that was pretty old. It had gotten lost during Hurricane Andrew and I just explained what happened and they allowed me to use it. (Burdines) at the time.

Im going to summons up the courage and ask them to extend the voucher.
