The cheapest entertainment is if you can find something you enjoy doing and get paid for it!

Were you talking about Ebay or crafting items and selling them?

Whatever works for you. I just figure if I can get paid to do something I'd do for free, then that's a great entertainment value.

Just bought a used Honda Ruckus, gets almost 90 mpg..really fun and relaxing to ride, and going to start riding to work once a week when the weather gets a little warmer...Look forward to riding on the weekends as well. Great inexpensive entertainment for me!

I play with my kids, watch TV and take naps. But my favorite way to entertain myself is to irritate my wife with my activities.

I like to take my kids on a nature hunt in my own backyard. We search for interesting looking insects and other creatures and the children really love it and don't even realise that they are learning.

Default play monopoly

Play boardgames like monopoly with your family. The best way to spend time at home. It does sometimes end up in fights and tears but at least the time passes by quickly

I read books and various online journals and/or newspapers as well as a few financial blogs - mainly seeking alpha and RGE monitor. I enjoy board games, PBS Nova, BBC Horizon. I also enjoy a variety of sports including european soccer, american football and tennis.

We like to have a treasure hunt with the kids in the backyard, just using everyday household items.

Alternatively we sometimes go on a nature hunt for bugs and insects in the nearby park.

Somehow I find the trouble not in filling time, but in finding time!

Part of my life is stuffed with volunteering, something I enjoy and am glad to do, but it generally doesn't qualify as entertainment.

Too bad it doesn't though, it is fun, and very worthwhile. Usually pretty cheap too.

Definitely playing with the kids. You only get to invest time. And in return, you all have fun and you get to build lasting memories.
