Default I Desperately Need Money Now!

If you find that the title of the thread fits your current situation and you need a one time donation to cover an unexpected expense, you may want to check out a site called ModestNeeds.org or you can go to their FAQ area to see exactly the type of help they provide. Here is their help statement:

Modest Needs exists exclusively to help individuals and families who typically do not qualify for charitable assistance with the kinds of unexpected, necessary expenses which, though relatively small, would threaten the financial stability of a person or family living paycheck to paycheck. Examples of these kinds of expenses might include an unexpected auto repair, an unusually large utility bill, or a small, unexpected medical expense (a visit to the doctor).

If each of the following statements about you is true, then you are eligible to request help from Modest Needs:

*You are at least 18 years of age;
*You do not reside in a nation whose laws would make it impossible for Modest Needs to perform 'due diligence' (Nigeria, for example);
*You are normally self-sufficient (you have a steady stream of income and normally make enough money to cover your regular bills and living expenses);
*You have encountered a relatively small, necessary expense which, given your personal circumstances, you could not reasonably have anticipated and/or prepared for;
*If you do not receive help with this small, necessary expense, it is likely that you will lose your ability to remain self-sufficient.
