Free Tax Filing Software

Jeffrey,
I have used TaxAct for the past two years and plan to use it again this year. I love it. I do purchase the state editions as I file in 2 different states. The cost can be deducted as an expense for tax preparation. The program is easy to use and with the deluxe version you can e-file and receive your refund in less than a week. Great product.

Glad to hear that the program works well for you. Since it is free it makes sense to utilize it to your benefit no matter how you have your taxes prepared. Thank you for sharing the inforamtion.

Go to taxfreedom.com and you can file your federal taxes via TurboTax for free! $20 for state

There are also a lot of different software makers that offer free Federal tax electronic filing through the IRS Free File Program
