I will wear for 2 days, but certainly not more than that. If it becomes dirty I will change it immediately.

Wow, I'll wear mine for weeks. The only reason to wash is so they fit my butt better!

Now that I work at home, I do find that I will wear some clothes for more than one day in a row (never underwear though). Socks vary, because some days I don't wear them at all, and some days it may only be an hour or two.
When I worked for someone else I would change all of my clothes every day, and sometimes two changes per day. Funny thing is, I never considered reduced laundry costs as a fringe benefit of working from home until now.

I think Americans in general are fanatics about cleanliness. I am American, by the way, but i get a lot more wear out of my jeans and pants than once or twice. I mean, when you wear them to work, what's to get dirty?
Unless there's a food stain or an odor, nothing is washed until needed. Undergarments are a different story, of course. And i don't often wash towels becus, duh, you're clean when you get out of the shower and use them, right? so why wash them unless, once again, they smell funky?

Yes I do
Yes I do wear my jeans at least twice before washing. It does not smell and it is not dirty. Then I do not see issue wearing it again.

Absolutly -
2-4 times depending on what I have done in them. Shirts I often wear more than once as well, but not in a row. I wear a uniform with a white t-shirt on underneath. When I get home (i only work 6 hrs a day) I leave on the white shirt and put on a t-shirt. Unless the shirt is soiled I'll wear it again. Summer time, different story. Usually wash every day.
I recently started hang drying my jeans and towels. I save my jeans and towels and wash them in one load, then hang them in my laundry room. Saves me a dryer (a hard one at that) cycle.

Nope. I wear mine 2 or 3 times before I throw them in the wash. And if I wear a t-shirt during the day and don't get it dirty, I sleep in it that night instead of dirtying a sleeper top.
Is that gross?

I don't think that there is anything wrong with re-wearing a pair of jeans if they didn't get too dirty. If I go anywhere that allows smoking or where food is being cooked, I tend to wash them before wearing again. I don't do this so much as a money saving technique though. It's more out of laziness

And jeans, yes, get worn more than once...maybe even 3 times before washing!
Do not rewear gym clothes...EVER. People can smell you...trust me!

Way more than twice for me. Shirts will be worn more than once (unless I've managed to get them dirty or they smell). Underwear? Fresh daily - I would NEVER use those more than 1 day. I shower every morning and often again either bath or shower at night, so I'm a very clean person.

That's funny. I always thought I was the only one who wear my jeans for about 5 days before a wash. I have a white collar job so all I do is sit at my desk in front of the computer all day. If it's not dirty or smelly why wash it? I find that the jeans last alot longer too!
Shirts I may wear twice before washing.
Underwear and socks are a different story. Always a fresh pair everyday.

During the school year I do my laundry during the week then I do during vacation time, school holidays or springbreak. During the week if my child does not get her clothes dirty than she will wear them another day. But most of the time I can usually tell what my child had for lunch or what she did that day by the stains on her shirts or jeans.
