Default cellular shades?

Has anyone out there purchased cellular shades? They're advertised (yeah, well maybe) as being energy efficient --the double ones particularly.

We have old leaky windows, and we're not ready to replace them. I'm not a big fan of the 3M window shrink wrap, but would like something that I could raise and lower that might be helpful with heat loss.

Eager to hear someone's opinion before the snow flies!

I have not had them in years, and when I did have them they were on a fairly new window. So, I'm probably not much help. However, I have used the shrink wrap and found it to be VERY effective. In fact, I have it year round on my gas fireplace (we never use it) because the fireplace leaks air like a wide open window all year. If you put it up properly, you might not even "see" it. Curtains and other window treatments also help make it look better.
