you are not alone in that. my hubby left last week for north dakota, someone has messed with my cable too, so i had to call in tech support today, and im gonna go in to pay bill today and im getting stuff changed, so it cant happen again. So sad that people are, how can i hurt them even more.

I think a spender looks for a saving grace in a person who is a saver. Like the theory- unlike poles attract. It works for some and for others it doesn't. However, even I would prefer someone who like me believes using every penny with care. I think frugal living is more like an acquired taste and once you get the hang of it, it becomes a way of life.

I'm a newbie here too, but I've enjoyed reading so far. I'm glad that at least in the virtual world I can find the same minded people (saving/investing vs. spending).

As regards to this thread, I and my DH are frugal, I'd say. It helps because we both detest shopping (except groceries since we have to eat ). I just wonder how we'll have to teach our DD be the same way, but she's still a toddler, so we have some time to think about.
