Default AA battery bulk rate from 6 volt lantern battery

I haven't tried this yet, but with two little kids and lots of electronic toys it's certainly on my to do list. I couldn't believe it!

I've read a few things about this. Apparently it's only certain brands of 6v batteries that have AA's in them, so you have to pick the right kind. Also the AA batteries are typically not alkaline, so they will go dead quickly. The consensus was that rechargable batteries are a better long-term buy. But this is definitely an interesting tidbit anyway.
