Airline Ticket Buying

One of the reasons I'm tryng to cut expenses is that I want to travel and am planning a trip to Europe this summer. I am trying to figure out if I should buy the airline tickets and book the hostels now or wait until June. I am planning to go in July Anybody have any ideas?

Book the hostels now! Unless there is a world event that makes people stop traveling, finding places to stay in Europe in the summer vacation months is very difficult.

Airline tickets are a bit trickier. If you are flexible with your dates, you may want to take a chance and hope for a good last minute deal. If you have specific dates that can't be changed, then you probably want to reserve it.

I have never travelled to Europe, so I can't help you there, but I have heard that finding hotels at decent proces in the summer can be very difficult. I would think that making the reservations in advance would be the smart thing to do.
