Does anyone use airline/hotel points consolidators like points.com?

I have various misc airlines miles rolling around (what an image!) and wonder if I should try to use them up through one of those services.

I'd be interested in hearing the plusses and minusses of them.

I had a lot of airline miles that were going to expire. I used Points.com and turned them into gift certificates. It was easy and I really enjoyed the benefit of getting something worthwhile instead of nothing at all.

I still have the account, though I've had little reason to use it since then.
