Hi
Well you could allways come to South africa where you could multiply your income by 14... are there any restrictions on earning income vs your benefit-so you might want to look at informal ways of generating cash are there cheaper local ISP's in your area are there any govt assistance programmes you can sign up for- I know it's not what it used to be but you payed your taxes before now is the time to get some of it back how much are you looking at for a holiday and where are you thinking of going- with the cheap airfares you guys can get to Europe I'm sure this is doable |

There is a forum for mainly UK ers by Martin Lewis and they
have Old Style (way of living) for lots of tips for cleaning products, shopping, menus and I know I read of how people shop at Tescos. It is called moneysavingexpert just google that and you will get some tips you can apply. I will echo the poster who mentioned to look into how earned income affects benefits if one is already getting them - that could really be a situation if there are restrictions on earning. And another tip: lower your food bill as much as you can for a week. There are tips here and at budget101 there is even a $10.00 list for the week with menu ideas. This could start you in some savings or the money for a business. About ebaying. I looked into that and read about many people who were having problems with the rise in gas (= higher shipping fees). Some seem to only post how they are not making money (in ebay forums). It seemed so discouraging when I was researching it that I have stashed my items aside for a garage sale vs. ebaying. |
