Default Bent & Dent stores in PA ROCK!!

We have been hitting the jackpot lately!
We went to BB's, an Amish run bent, banged and bargains store.
Cereal was 2 boxes for $1. I do not buy cold cereal usually, because 1) it is too expensive and 2) it has a lot of sugar. This was Dora, Lucky Charms and Captain Crunch.
Now, I can use it for snacks, though, and take a bag with us in the car. When we go *into town*, we almost always have to stop and get a snack or drinks. This is cheaper, and not as bad as McD's. I know we should just pack a lunch, but with four children, it just doesn't always happen! Plus, it gets pricey, and then they get grouchy and I get desperate! Then I feel guilty about the $10, etc.
I mostly cook from scratch, but am not against convenience foods for the right price. A few weeks ago, they had StoveTop for 3 boxes/$1!
Some of these have damaged boxes, and some have a date that is close to going out or is barely passed.
My husband loves brownies, no-bake cheesecakes, etc, and this is a good place to get those.
They had gallons of Minute Maid for $.99, orange juice for $.99 per gal or qt, organic yogurt, 6/$1,, cereal/granola bars, 2 boxes/$1, etc.
Anyone else have a store like this near them?
There are a few like this near me, we are in northeast MD.

It is so great to get a deal that really makes a difference in your budget!

Where is the store? Might be worth a trip sometime.

we have one of these stores near us in AR. And yesterday, was their anniversary sale. got some good stuff and free burgers and drinks. They had miracle whip lite 2/$1 big jars. And some of their snack bars for $.50 or less. We usually get the albacore tuna, in packages, for $.99. No water add and vaccumed packed.

This store is in Quarryville, PA.
It is hit or miss sometimes. In other words, sometimes you get a lot of deals, sometimes you don't.
Most of the time you do! There is always something neat to buy, that is also useful, and not wasted money.
Plus, the drive is nice, and the store bathrooms are very clean, for the kids. The Amish are neat as a pin.
I did a Google search and found it. There is also a store called Amelia's grocery outlet, which is good too. There are three BB's, and several Amelia's. I go to the Quarryville BB's.

Why don't you mix the super sweet cereals with something like Cheerios to lessen the amount of sugar you're consuming at one sitting? I often do that at home, just to vary things.

We have scratch and dent stores here. The great deal this time was a generic Rotel-like product that I got for 33cents a can. I bought all they had!

Wow that sounds like a great place. I love going to Amish dry good stores in Indiana when we take a trip, they do have great deals.

I bought some of a large container of spices there for cookies, and I've had it for a few years and it's still in great shape and I have a ton to last me a long time. A half pound of cloves for $3.68 and a pint jar of Amish peanut butter (peanut butter and marshmallow fluff) $2.78. I also bought some hair pins and long underwear and lunch, so maybe for a total of $20 and a day trip it was a ton of fun. I'm also using everything, expect the peanut butter that disappeared right away, still three years later.

It's nice knowing that I'm supporting non-chain family businesses too.
