How frugal are we really?

I drink a lot of water, so i bought a water purifier and make my own bottled water. It has saved me a lot of money.

I cook mostly from scratch, using food that I have gotten for the best possible price. I hardly ever throw food away. Leftovers get used right away or frozen.

I turn off the lights (with the exception of the Christmas tree...that stays on all the time) TV, computer, etc. when not in use.

DH changes the oil in our cars and found a garage that uses waste oil for heat so they take it for free...he also does all minor repairs. Car washes are done at home.

I use the smallest amount I can get away with of everything (toothpaste, shampoo, detergents, cleaners, etc.). I always shop sales and use coupons for cleaning and beauty items.

I borrow books from the library.

I know there are many other things I do, but can't think of anything else at the moment.
