generic meds

I just saved $125.00 on my hubbies meds.
We all know by now that gereic save money ,but did you know BCBSNC and maybaybe other BCBS insurance are offering FREE generics for Oct ,Nov ,and Dec. Well since we are in NC I am not sure about other states, but it is worth checking into. I will save $375.00 in the last three months of this year...YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe

Another good way to save money if your doctor doesn't recommend a particular generic brand is to go to the website of the brand name prescription you're taking. Often the websites contain vouchers for $10 or more off the prescription. Usually you have to print out the page and have your doctor sign it and then they send the vouchers in the mail. I have saved over $100 this way with just a few visits to the drug maker's website.

this is actually a really good tip to buy generics. you can save a lot because you aren't paying for the advertising and marketing of the med.
