How do you earn extra money?
I need a little inspiration all.
Besides working a "regular" job, what do you do for extra money?

everything I like to do doesn't make money....

Re: How do you earn extra money?
Recycle my cans and bottles. If I find any in the parking lot, or any other place, I pick it up. I have a special bag in my trank for those. Averages $15 for every trip aproximatly every 6 weeks.
Sell on ebay.
Dh does side jobs for extra $$.
Prepare some papers for my boss, that he is supposed to do, like newsletters and reports for extra $$.
Buy some merchandise, get the reward for that from the store, then return it and keep the reward.
get cash back on my CC
I don't think I will have to report the money above as my income or pay tax on it.

Re: How do you earn extra money?
I teach flute lessons. I get paid to play at weddings and funerals, but I rarely do that.
DH just took on a position as the service leader for our church (music coordinator). There are often paid positions at churches that fit various talents.
We PAY others to watch our dog when we vacation. I suppose someone could advertise to do the sitting/house watching. That would be easy!

Sell junqu'e in my antiques booth.
I SAVE money instead of earn it most of the time. I tell The Hubster, "You make the living, and I'll make the living worthwhile."
Works for us.

Re: How do you earn extra money?
I do pottery as a hobby and sell it.
My wife is bilingual (English/Spanish) so she does a whole bunch of translating. She also recently decided to do pampered chef (mostly to get the product at a discounted rate).
Some of my friends do very well at lawn care as a side job. That seems to take the least skill and there is a high demand in our area.

Try this site http://www.bloodbanker.com/plasma/ to see if there is a location in your city. In Wisconsin, plasma centers are in cities with a College. This provides the center with enough people to make it economically viable.
This site has some info on it, but it is a little over the top in the scare factor. http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...for_money.html
You cannot have had a piercing or tattoo in the last year. No surgery in the last 6 months. No sex with a male (if you are a male) or anyone who has ever had sex with a male even 1 time. This is because of possible HIV transmission. Any changes in prescription medication will make you ineligible to donate for 1 full month after your dosage change, to allow your body time to adjust to the new levels.
Drink lots of fluids, it helps speed up the donation process as it keeps your blood thin. Many college girls have blood like molasses! Eat a meal about 1 hr prior to your donation, to keep you from a reaction. Basically your body is looking for food to replenish the plasma as you donate. An empty stomach is not a good thing. The reaction is handled very easily by ending your donation and supplying you with liquids and they watch you for 15 or so minutes to ensure you are ok. Once again, college girls are the most likely to have a reaction according to the staff at my center.

Re: How do you earn extra money?
Any time I save money with my store card or using a coupon, I put the cash into a cash box for my challenge money. If i stay home and don't use gas, I put that money into my cash box. I pay myself for walking 30 minutes.

Re: How do you earn extra money?
I've monetized a couple of blogs. I also have a couple of side businesses (large-format printing and screen printing) and will be starting up a couple of eBay stores to sell those things as well as anything else I pick up for a good deal at thrift stores, flea markets, auctions, etc. (mainly back issues of magazines).
