Exclamation FRAUD: Why it concerns you!

A few days ago my mom got a phone call from her cell phone company saying that they sent her a replacement phone. My mom did not request a replacement phone. The cell phone company said that they phone had been sent to New York. She does not live any where close to New York. The company had also said that they have been having a problem with that. My mom signs up for freebies sometimes. When you put your phone number in the registration form so you can recieve your sample scammers can get your number. I was surprised how much information could be found by just your home phone number. The cell phone company said that ebay is a BIG problem. Though my mom had not bought anything from ebay they still got her number. This is just a warning. I advise that you really think about giving your number on the internet again. I know that some freebies do require a phone number. To me it is sad that the world has come to stealing and scamming people.

Yep, that's what you do. Otherwise you get calls from India, "hello, my name is Ben...."
