Default buying new things

I just started a discussion on things that I buy used. There are also things that I buy new and would never consider buying used. Underwear, bras and swim suits come to mind right away. Most of my appliances I have purchased new such as washing machines and dryers because the newer models seem to be more energy efficient that older ones. I would not consider buying personal hygiene products that are used. I often see electric shavers and such at garage sales, but always pass on those. What other things do you think should always be purchased new instead of used?
