I buy my magazines used at Half Price Books for 25 cents apiece. A lot of times I can find current issues brand new. Makes me wonder who would ditch a brand new magazine in the first place.

You can get so many things used -- in fact, only a FEW things should be bought new.

Underwear, stuffed animals, and (some types of) hats come to mind. There really aren't very many.

Most things, even when they look awful, can be cleaned up with a wet paper towel and/or elbow grease.
