I really love all these reposnes; a lot of thought, a lot of like minded frugal buddies.

I don't buy paper plates, paper towels, paper cups/utensils/napkins, fabric softener, cell phone anything, batteries that aren't rechargeable, incandescent light bulbs, liquid soap (left over bars and water mush to hand soap), new books, any form of prepared potatoes, the newspaper, notepads, any premade coffee drink, soda, liquid milk, regular cable, kleenex, panty hose, hair "products", pre-chopped vegetables, calendars, greeting cards, watches. And of course theres more that I can't think of, and some ideas that I'll steal from future posts.

I donot buy expensive greeting cards for birthdays. My FIL spends $4 on a card, I look at it and then throw it away in a few days after my birthday. I would rather have the $4. I buy my cards at the dollar store for 50 cents each.

There are a ton that I don't buy because baking soda and vinegar are nice substitues for shampoo, conditioner, window cleaner, Comet, laundry booster, cat box freshener, and cleaning the sink, tub and toilet. I also use cloth instead of paper whenever possible, so I don't buy paper napkins, paper towels, and tissues. I cannot wait to invest in cloth menstral pads, so much more comfortable.

I also don't buy canned soups, boxed meals, boxed/canned stock/broth, boxed dessert mixes or canned beans.
