2nd day here but already

I have made some changes.

1. at nite, unplug cable converter and tv
2. unplug computer powerstrip from wall
3. tucked a 20.00 bill inside my plastic jug. Been saving change in a empty giant plastic bottle that came from walmart. Originally it had animal crackers in it. Perfect for change. Probably 2 gallons. The change I began saving on my own about 6 months ago. Got to thinking about it and found this website.

I'm more aware of what I'm spending and the electricity.

Great start, I have been here 7 months, and have saved quite a bit with all these tips. (turn off your hot water heater when not taking a shower or running the dishwasher)

the hot water boiler is in the basement of the highrise. I mean I can turn the heat up down or off I just dont have to pay it. I am conservative though. I am surviving the heat with bix box fans....not sure if I want to deal with AC bills.

So hot water and heat are not part of your electric bill? I have never lived in an apartment or in a big city!

no I dont have to pay it. Still my electric was 85.00 this month.....that's got to end!!

Mine was $97 but i have a 3200sq. ft. house plus extra garage with an apt.

Yeah, he went from being a licensed builder to a used car saleman and had to live with his new in laws the rest of their lives.
