With 2 little girls, I got a part time job at babies'r'us to get the employee discount plus some extra cash. The 10% discount really adds up when you're buying car seats, toys, a stroller, etc.
Also had a $3 store coupon my sister received for completing a survey. So for two 4-packs of baby vegetables: regular price $4.38 less $1, on sale $3.38 less 10% discount $3.04 less $3 coupon $0.04 This example is really the extreme of how to work the system and combine coupons and sales, but it's nice to get something for (almost) free. |

I am one of the biggest fans of such calculations: I bought 3 lbs od perdue chicken boneless skin-less chicken breasts for $1.58 Sale $4.58 for 3lbs package. coupon $2.00 coupon doubled: $3.00 Final price: $1.58 |
