I get new Walgreens card every time too. That way if the card is empty I throw it away, so don't have to keep 10 cards in my wallet and guess which is empty and which is good.
On the rebate they usually say the limit, and the limit is usually one item, sometimes more. I usually make copies of all my receipts and forms that I submit for rebate. When i get the rebate, I can throw the copy away. I like the RiteAid rebates, cause you do everything online and you can check as often as you want your rebate status. With Walgreens and Longs, you have to send it in the mail, and hope (really hope) they would get it. But with Walgreens you get extra 10%. I have a question: I have lots of body lotion. More than I can use (all free). Does anybody use it for anything else except for puting it on your skin? |

Yes, I definitely stockpile...
lotion makes a great hair conditioner...some cautions if you color your hair, some conditioners as well as lotions can strip the color...but quite a few friends use Lubriderm directly on hair for curly frizz-free locks, and a touch with water in a spray bottle makes an easy, lighter leave-in. |

Sometimes the rebate forms are put out in the 'blinkie' machine. Its the same concept as you see little machines next/below the items on sheles that spits out grocery coupons. A great way to find rebate forms is to trade for them. Rebates are also offered by such national chains as Walgreen's, Rite Aid, Eckerds on a monthly basis. CVS has an excellent program where they offer ECB which is a similar concept as rebates. Remember, getting companies pay you for buying their product, you have to do a little footwork and be committed. You have to save your receipts, buy the exact same product ( variety/size/type) that the rebate is for, fill the rebate from and mail it on time. If you miss a single step you will be stuck with something that you ONLY bought because it will be free AFTER you receive your check |

I am trying to start to stock pile so problems I have noticed:
knowing the expiration dates so that I can cycle things through, finding space for everything, and just not having enough money in my grocery budget to buy too many things. Looks like it will be a slow process |

Re: Stockpile
Hello all, Ima especially.
If you are eating out too much , please check out Diamond preffered cards from CiTi. You can get a $100 GC with each approved card. One applicant can apply for 2 within a ninety day period. You can have nX2 per household, n being the number of family members. If you knew this already..:-((, hmm i just found out. ![]() |
