Question Which toothpaste is the best?

I've tried lots of toothpaste but I'm not sure which one has the best results. I anyone has had good results from a particular toothpaste please let me know. I'll take suggestions too.

I can't say anything about results, but I have never used anything but Colgate. Just don't like the taste of anything else. Of course, I never had a cavity until I was past my teens, so I guess that might say something about how well it works (although my brothers and I all attribute our good teeth to the houge amount of milk we drink!). It can be bought fairly cheaply with coupons/sales.

I formerly used Crest products but for about a year now we have been using Mentadent toothpastes. We like the taste as well as the dispenser and the product works very well.

The one you use!

really unless you are looking for some whitening (which is debatable about how healthy it is for your teeth) they all do about the same thing....keep the flavor so you will brush longer.

go for 2 minutes and don't worry about the brand.

Whatever's cheaper?

If I had my choice, though, I prefer the Arm and Hammer baking soda and peroxide. Just like how clean they feel when I use this.

Colgate Total or Gel Kam are the best products. But if you brush after a meal anything will work.

Yes, that's the advice I've heard in the past also. Therefore, I tend to just buy whatever is cheaper.

Toothbrushes are more important in the dental hygiene equation I think, but even then, I buy the cheap stuff. Soft only. And, I've learned to replace it more often....

Actually, those free samples have worked out great. I have had two kids in braces and they throw a sample size toothpaste and a travel toothbrush in their pocket so they can brush where ever they are.

The best toothpaste?

The one that is free after rebate.

I get more of those than I can use, so I send some to my sister's overseas, 0r clean the bathtub and the toilet with it, one tube lasts for like 5 cleanings.

It is just at a regular grocery store. You can find it at the natural food stores also.
