Default Save on ordering checks

I use a few checks even though I pay my credit card bills online.

Checkworks.com allows returning customers to purchase checks at the same price that a first time customer pays. This is really a savings for me as I don't have to look for a new check printer to order from!. They have very pretty check designs too!

That is good to know, I use a lot of checks for business. I looked into ordering and they are cheap the first time, but a lot more expensive after that. I use the 3 to a page type of checks, so they may be more expensive??

I always keep in mind that there are places to get checks more cheaply, but in 13 years of holding our current account, we still have not used up our first allotment of checks. Our bank was sold twice in that time, going through name changes, but we still have the original checks with the original bank name. Most payments are made online, of course.

Hi Ima!

Checkworks has free UPS shipping for business checks and a 3-5 business day delivery (per their website; http://checkworks.com/)
Phone number 1-800-971-4223. They state "You will enjoy the same low price everytime you order!" so I assume they do mean business/laser checks as well! I ran across Checkworks reading bankrate.com.

You can also buy secure check paper and print checks yourself with your own designs or leave them basic. They run about $15-$25 for a pack of 200 pages(3-4 checks per page) at your office supply stores.

Thats up to 1/2 the price per check over premades.

Just an added idea because some people might want their checks to look proffesional and have everything filled out on them, minus the signature. Aswell as a good option for people who move locations, and end up having 100 obsolete checks that they need to dispose of properly.

There's a benefit to both premades, and secure paper.

I have too many checks from when I opened my account in August. And we are moving to another apartment, same town in July... I wonder if I can still use some checks with the old address once we move? I've seriously used 1 book and about 3 checks in the 2nd book. Oh well.

It takes me so long to get through checks that I only ever buy a new set when I run out or when something changes, like the routing number. I don't use them for anything except to pay my rent and a couple other non-store things. No one really seems to care that it's the wrong address, especially if you're staying in the area.

No one cares about the wrong address or even the bank's name. Our bank changed its name, but the account no is the same. The bank told us to keep using the checks until they are all gone as the account no is the most important thing. At the rate I use these checks, I will have them until the year 2106! LOL.

i got a free checking account and comes with free basic design checks. i write so few (2 or 3 a month) that i don't notice that they are boring and plain.
i find it is easier and less stress to have transactions clear my bank earlier, with debitcard or electronic check charges they do. dont have to worry about the check being lost in the mail.
