Books, books, books. I worked at a used bookstore, and I know how far $20 can go in there! I'm always reading, adn I go through about 2-3 books a week. And libraries books kinda gross me out (but used ones don't...I know, I'd odd!). Anywho, books are my weakness, so I'd stock up on some more.

This week I'm trying to rid myself of a nasty chest cold so I didn't get out to spend money! I spent my time at home doing freebee's, cutting and filing coupons to ready them for my next food trip. Filled out some rebate forms and looked at new budget recipes. I hate paying full price for anything...it eats up my budjet especially for paper goods, beauty supplies and cleaning products. I've been making up a batch of "all purpose cleaner" that rivals 409 and Fantastic. It costs just pennies to make! I'm going to look the recipe up and post it....plus it's natural and pure. No nasty fumes to pollute your indoor air! I have been scrutinizing what foods my family begs for and then wastes..like box cereals. I'm going back to my homemade apple cinnamon oatmeal and cream of wheat. Batches of pancakes with apples or berries are also a favorite! Inexpensive and yummy.

well, my bf has had such a horrible week, that I hope it's quicker! I want him to forget all about it and start over again, lol...

just for the record, we buy Frexinet, which is highly drinkable, usually under 10 bucks, and lasts about 1 minute in our house, lol....

Well if you're going to buy books count me in - A 20 spot would go a long way in one of our local thrifts where all books - hardbacks included go for 10 cents each!

It's not tangible, but in my opinion a pedicure is the best $20 value in the world.

There's something magical about having someone pamper your feet for half an hour - I always walk out feeling like a millionaire goddess. I usually do my own, but it's a very worthwhile splurge once or twice in the summertime.

If I had to spend it today, I would buy fall pansies for my front porch pots.

Cat food!!! I have some coupons for the huge bags of Purina One kitten food (my adult cats have to eat kitten foods because one of them have a heart murmur and he should eat a high-taurine and high omega fats diet)

They are also on sale.

I think Petsmart is a godsend. They just had a new one in College Station this summer. Before that I had to pick up cat food on the way to visit my mother in Houston. It is so hard nowadays to find kitten food in bulk besides Petsmart. They usually put kitten food in one of those tiny bags that wouldn't last a week in our house.

I could also use them on gas to go visit my mom in Houston. She always cook more than $20 worth of food and freeze them for me. Free TV dinners!!!

I would check the grocery store fliers to see what loss leaders were on sale. I then would buy the best value to add to my stockpile.
