Default How much have you been paying for gas?

Yesterday was a milestone of sorts for me. That was the first time I paid $30 at the pump, and I drive a Corolla.

How much do you guys pay at the pump?

I pay around $36 these days to fill up my Passat.

I saw premium range from $3.04 to $3.13 yesterday. Makes that Prius so tempting!!

I drive a Civic and paid $30 in my last fillup.

Luckily, i don't drive much, as i work in my hometown. But this is scary, and we all know it's just going to get worse.

Iv'e got a 7 year old car with just 70K on it, so i'll have it for a while, but i plan to get a hybrid or something that gets better than 45 mpg when the time comes. Better yet, i may get a donkey.

$50 or more to fill up the minivan - fortunately, I only have to every few weeks (my worst was $70 when prices were over $3). I think prices are around $2.79/gal. here now - been on a steady increase the past few weeks. DH spends about $25 to fill up his Sentra.

$35 for my PT Cruiser...but it requires premium...so that costs me extra.

I cant really help it, so I try not to stress to much. I try and stress on the things I can change, and global demand is not one of them! lol

Since, I rarely ever let my tank get below 1/2, i put in about $15 dollars each time. So, I'm at about $30 a tank. But, I get really good gas milege. By my own calculations I get on average 31 mpg. I could probably stretch that a little further if I drove slower, but I've got places I have to be!

2,59/gallon * 13 gallon in the tank. It's an hybrid (42 miles/gallon) I fill it up about once a month.

Here in Central Illinois prices range from $2.74-2.79 a gallon. We don't let the tanks on our vehicles dip below half so we range between $15-20 a fill up.

Here in Australia. Petrol /Gas is high and has been going up for a long while now! At the moment we are paying around $1.30 AU for gas (a litre). 1 gallon = 4.546 litre, so @ $5.91 AU a gallon that’s about $7.32US and around $1.05 litre when its at its lowest price. Other states are higher as we have No state tax on fuel. So add another 8c @ litre on top of that. Around half of the price is TAX on our fuel. They are blaming it on short supply!

I have seen it higher than that too! Around the $2 mark! That's $9.09 per gallon here, liquid gold.

(Our dollar is around 74c to US $)

In the UK we're paying 92 pence a litre for unleaded, it costs me £35 to fill up my little Ford, that's $61.33 US and $81.18 Australian dollars. I seriously monitor prices so you can pay alot more than that. I hope you all feel sorry for us brits now with no oil of our own !

(1 british pound= $1.75 USD = $2.40 Australian D)

We are paying 2.89 a gallon in Milwaukee, WI. I don't drive but still am feeling it at the grocery store and other places.

This just stinks!

Unhappy Re: How much have you been paying for gas?

Today I paid $2.65/gal for regular in Hudson, OH. I drive a Isuzu Rodeo and it takes $46.00 to fill it up. I refuse to put more that a couple dollars in my tank at a time until the prices go down. I just bought bought my SUV and I love it but I have heart palpitations every time I go to the pump...........

Of course... and that's why I don't live there!

Seriously though, I would love one of those little cars are are only available for the European market. The Toyota Ayla for example? Lovely things, especially when Top Gear did a soccer er I mean football match with them.

I paid 30. to fill up my Jeep Wrangler in Jersey, about 7.00 more per tankful than I consider "normal". It makes me crazy, especially with the recent announcement about the multiple millions that retired oil company ceo's have gotten. But still, there is nothing to do about it, and I just try to cut out 10 bucks somewhere else in my week.....
