Default Bargain Garage Sale Finds

I love to go to garage sales on the weekends and see what great bargains I can find. Today I cam away with a huge box of knitting yarn for a few dollars, some nice figurines I will try to resell on ebay and a bunch of board games that I will donate to out senior center since they are always looking for items like that. Does anyone else hit the garage sales on the weekends?

I have to stop at each and every garage sale I pass. It's an additction. I buy all my books there since you can buy volumes at pennies a piece. Lots of CDs. I also collect nesting dolls, but they have skyrocketed in price over the last few years and its hard to find them these days. I stopped at several today while doing my errands and will probably find some more tomorrow.

I've gotten some great deals on clothes for DD - 25 cents for dresses, stuff like that. I haven't gone garage sale shopping in quite a while, though.

My friend found a Clarice Cliff vase for $1 - I have never been so lucky. I don't go regularly as I find I can't resist things I don't actually need(!) but find them a very cheap source of interesting kitchen utensils and cutlery, baking dishes and general crockery - much cheaper than thrift shops if you are lucky.

I recently found a wall-mount soda machine as fodder for my vending machine route. He had $50 on it, but I worked him down to $35. It sells on eBay for $200.

Another good weekend for garage sales finds for me. I found a wonderful platter set for a mere $3 and nice vases for $2 a piece. It's always such a wonderful feeling when you come across something your like at such great discounts.
