I just bought a new LCD monitor :O we took it out of home improvement since it makes the whole office area more attractive and that's what the home improvement fund is for

Well, this is more like a few weeks ago. But I didn't redeem my rebates for a total of $65. Money didn't seem very important when I didn't visit the site and caught up in my own little world at the same time.

I'm curious. Why did you have to pay interest on a 0% card?

Since I have been working from home the past week I would have to save "Working From Home". Not driving the car is my way of being frugal for the week.

Chipped in for a "suck-up" gift for the boss in the office. Why do WE need to give him anything if the head-office gave HIM a raise?

Circled the entire outer metro area driving from one branch of a store to another branch, not knowing there was an intermediate branch I could've gone to and then getting mixed-up on an interstate exchange. It would have cut my driving by more than half if I had checked addresses and driving directions before I left.

this year i opted out of the secret santa and did not have any money on me for the bosses gift. did not have to take any junk i did not need home and the boss makes way more than me-besides all they bought him was a gift card for a department store i cannot afford to walk into. my scrooge time--my little spending was on my grandkids

I bought an overpriced package of chocolate-covered pomegranite bits. Normally I'm just as happy with a cheap bag of generic chocolate chip cookies or something, but I've been dying to see what they tasted like, and decided to splurge this once.

That was probably a mistake. Darn, they're good...

I bought an Iced caramel latte from Mcdonalds. I make my own caramel syrup, and I own an espresso maker, I can make the exact same latte for about twenty five cents, but I paid $3.50.

last weekend I spent $200 cash on a gaming system...but it was for entertainment that would keep me at home for a while...that is how I justified the spending.

I was really hungry after teaching all day and bought a sandwich at the grocer when I picked up milk and a nicer bottle of wine than usual. I didn't need the sandwich, but it looked delightful--Chicken salad on a croissant. When I got home I found it was curried chicken salad--not my favorite so my little treat ended up being dinner for my husband. Bah.
