I shower, DH showers, DD gets baths.
As to which uses more water...that would depend on how long you run the water for, and if you have low flow devices, shut off or turn down the water while shampooing, etc. So who uses more water in the shower, me or DH? Me. Takes me longer, and I don't always turn the water off while lathering up. (Try shaving legs with goosebumps - I don't think so!) I also have fairly long, thick hair, and it takes a while to get it thoroughly rinsed. Do DD's bath use more or less water? I honestly don't know. |

Hubby and I both shower -usually separately. If we were really frugal -maybe together. LOL
The kids all take bath still. All in all, it probably all washs out. |

I think it really depends on how you take your shower. If you take a military type shower, then a shower uses much less. If you spend 30 minutes with the shower going full throttle then a bath will use less. I take short showers unless I need to relax after a hard day and then it's a long bath

I agree that taking showers together is not only cheaper, but more fun.
![]() An easy way to figure out which way uses less water: Next time you shower, stop up the drain. Stop it up before you turn on the water. Take your shower. After you're done, sit in the tub. If the water level is lower than it is when you take a bath, the shower uses less water. Otherwise, the bath uses less water. |

I take a bath. Largely because I think I get cleaner. My partner thought this was hysterical and we argued about bath vs. shower also.

I take both- for diferent reasons
Showers are for cleaning, washing hair etc and baths are for relaxing - have to have bubbles. Baths are a wonderful, relatively cheap form of relaxation- run with bubbles, put on face mask and relax for 20 mins- very good to on weekend when you're planning a lazy day at home I'm not sure which uses more, but it is easier to reuse bath water- cause it's easier to bucket it out,. When we have water restrictions I'll reuse the water in tiolet or on garden. |

I shower usually- bathe to relax. Hubby showers- he`s very quick about it.
My lil guy bathes, teenage son it varies. (Usually quick shower before school) My showers are the longest- I`m the only one with any amt of hair around here! Terry |
