Default toilet paper

The toilet paper I buy has just gone up to $3.08 for 4 double rolls.
I think that is rediculous! I buy cotonelle and I don't like cheap toilet paper. Any suggestions?

Wow that's expensive. Have you priced the bigger bundles that have 12 or 24 rolls in them? I pay $4.99 for 24 rolls but that's in Canada

you can find 24 single, or 12 double most every other week in sale ads. The key is to buy 2 when they are sale. Then wait till the next sale.

usually they are 4.99 at walmart/kroger, sometimes 2/$9.00. Some stores make you buy 2 things to get the deals but 90% of the time, you only have to buy one and you'll get the sale price...

Wish I lived near a wal mart or Kroger, but I don't. I have a hard time getting anything on sale around here. I have never seen 12 double rolls for $4.99 anywhere.

Ima, I pay what you pay. I've tried the Costco brand, but, well, when we retired, we changed to better TP I guess.

They do have coupons occasionally. I do wait for the sale and stock up. But it's ridiculous!

I'm with Ima regarding Cottonelle. But sometimes you gotta try the other stuff if it means breaking the bank over TP. KWIM?

Anyway, www.cairo.com is a great site to enter the products YOU want. They do a great job of notifying you when a sale is in your area.

Oops, sorry Ima, nothing for GA.

I get the 12 double rolls for less than five regularly, varying brands, and stock up at $4.50 or less. I love the double rolls.

I just got back from Meijer and the Cottonelle 6 double rolls are on sale for 2/$4!

While I was there I opened their store credit card which will give me 10% off my first purchase. As soon as I find Cottonelle coupons I will be heading back out there to stock up!

When Johnny carson was on the Tonight Show, he made a comment about toilet paper being scarce. The next few days the price of toilet paper started going up and has never come down again. (Johnny was only kidding)

Re: toilet paper

The Supermarket that had the Toilet Paper on special this week that I use, has sold out of it, they have no stock in the warehouse. So as the shelves are empty, you can ask for a raincheck here. I asked for Raincheck for 6 x 4 rolls 3ply toilet paper @ 1.99 pack. Regular price is $3.25 which I never pay, at a $1.26 per pack x4 to start with off. Because I have a discount card, I get extra 5% off as well! I got 30 days to buy it too! I have no problem with waiting as I already have enough toilet paper for six months in bulk storage.

We don't have coupons here.

You are the winner! I am trying to stock up while I have coupons and then see how long I can go before I have to buy some again.

I buy toilet paper & do rebates on it either walgreens or this month dollar general has one. I rarely get any good coupons & no one here doubles so I concentrate more on doing rebates thier always seems to be something for TP

I use both Quilted Northern and Cottonelle. So...I buy whichever one is on sale, and look for coupons. I do well at the local pharmacy stores too - RiteAid, Walgreens, and Eckerd.

I also check their websites...

Northern website currently has a coupon link. You can get coupons for napkins, paper towels, and toilet paper:
http://www.quiltednorthern.com/products.html

Cottonelle website only has a coupon for their wipes right now -
