We made our pig lot today, instead of hiring the FFA kids to do it (as several suggested...) Used hog and combination panels given to us from DH uncle who is retiring from farming, ate leftovers for both lunch and dinner.

Oh, we're getting some pigs in a couple of weeks, too.

At the grocery store, my order should have been $78.65 and I ended up paying $36.75. That is over 53% savings. $3.50 was from coupons. I picked up 3 beautiful stuffed easter rabbits that would have cost over $30. I got 75% off and paid $7.50 for all 3.

I thought that I had a coupon ($1.) for one of the items that I bought so when I went back home, I just went to the computer and printed it out and the store excepted it.

Today, I also printed out 2 other coupons that are $1. each for a BOGO free product. My computer saves me a lot of money alone on coupons that I can print out.

I like smartsource.com but have a hard time getting their printer to download. I go to the manufacturers website and they normally have coupons. I went to Birdseye.com and they had $1. coupons for the Viola brand of birdseye. Also Smart source is good. Coupon.com is good. Couponbar.com. I like HotCouponWorld.com

Finally spring seems to at least be visiting, so two loads of laundry made it on the line today.
And I bought some salad mix seeds to "grow my own"

I shopped at 4 different stores today which are 5 miles round trip from my house. I should have spent $65.88. I spent $34.50. $26.24 was from savings and $4.98 was from coupons. I managed to get at least 4 meals from this. I had a savings of over 48% savings. Most was from comparing sales ads from the different grocery store, BOGO free and coupons

We had a free lunch at work. I brought home a big pan of stuffed shells that was left over. We'll probably use it for dinner tomorrow night.

Tonight, we had dinner at Olive Garden. We had $28 left on gift cards that we were given in December. With those, we only had to pay $16 out of pocket for dinner for the 3 of us. Plus, I used my Chase Rewards card which is having a 5x points bonus on restaurants, so I'll get back 5% of that charge.
