I love hanging mine outside; I have a wierd little machine that is a washer AND a dryer, and the dryer part isn't working. I'm going to stall on having it fixed until it gets cold again, cause I love that smell of air dried laundry.

I also managed to start a LOT of seeds this year. The UNFRUGAL thing was that I bought seed start soil this year, because I have damping off problems when I use old soil, even if I sterilize it in the oven. I have four window boxes fully planted and sprouting, beans, flowers, and gourds.

I tried to do tomatoes from seed last year, and that didn't pan out, so the frugal thing to do in that case seems to be to buy plants, lol....

I need to buy one of those stand alone pieces to dry clothes this summer. I hope to find a good deal on one and i have a gift card at bed bath and beyond to use. My roomie has a coupon for 20% off a total order. Woohoo!

LOL...I didn't buy MANY things, but seriously, I didn't buy new shoes for a wedding I have to go to; bad enough that I already bought a pink dress, it would be even WORSE to buy pink shoes to go with it....

maybe some very light tan sandles? yikes,.....

1. DD1 cut my hair for free.
2. Used box of hair color that I got for $2
= makeover for $2 that I could have spent $60 on if I went to a professional!

3. Ate all meals at home.
4. Evaluated grocery needs and only spent $42 (instead of the $100 'stock up' shopping that I had planned.) We now have enough to last the week and I didn't break the budget doing so!!

Made some muffins for breakfasts/snacks, and snuck in some bread crumbs for a cup of grain. Can't taste them, the muffins are great,, but it helped use those homemade breadcrumbs.

all meals at home again...even made enough to feed DD1 and parents!
Am starting a list for this weekends camping trip. Plan to feed us as cheaply as possible.
Did not drive today.
Used the 'no heat' dryer cycle on the dishwasher.
Hung clothes out on the line to dry.
Decided not to rent a PPV movie, but instead find something free on TV.
Made sure all monthly bills are scheduled to pay and avoided all late fees!!!

Didn't spend a cent. Boring, but frugal. It's a good thing I actually like my leftover lunches!

I sold $439 of the knitted bags that I make-- last night.
I contemplated going out to get coffee this morning, but I stayed here.
So far this morning, on my day off, I've stayed here doing fun things like washing dishes and putting laundry away -- instead of going out and spending money.

I washed my car instead of going to the car wash.
Never again. It's worth it to pay ten bucks to have someone else wash it.
I need a break!

I'm trying to get through at least two days a week without spending any money except for gas to get to work.
