Default Toothpaste as Stain Remover: Really Works!

Someone here a few months ago suggested using toothpaste to removed magic marker ffrom metal (as in my furnace, written on by the guys who tune it up.

just wanted to say thx, it really worked well. Thanks again. I'm going to remember that one.

It's non-toxic, something you always have on hand, and saves $$ on some product you'll use one and that's it.

It is mildly abrasive. I have used tooth paste before for the same thing!

Toothpaste is great for getting marks off of the wall. At least the paste stuff. I used Pepsodent to polish silver for 20 years before I learned they actually make polish for it.

I'm not sure the gel works, though.
