Default Brand loyalty?

I use Heinz Ketchup, Guldens Mustard, and Hellmans Mayo! I don't buy other condiments on sale. There are just some things I won't do without! How about you when it comes to these things?

I am often loyal, but DH is often open. Not with peanut butter, that has to be Jif for him!

I come from pgh (where they make heinz) and I have to have it, DH is willing to try anything, and I guess doesn't mind the generic, I would rather have my frys without than with fake, so I do (have them without)

Anything food related is fair game -- though I used to dig the tang of "miracle whip", anything will do in a pinch.

One thing that comes to mind that I won't buy generic is a razor, mach3 for me.

Yeah, I won't buy generic razor, I did that and it sucked, left major razorburn and I had to shave several times to get the hair.

I buy almost anything generic. I won't buy generic dr pepper though, I'll do without.

medicine, some spices, olives, some canned things, etc....all generics unless I have tried them and they're nasty!

The one thing I refuse to skimp on is diet soda. When I can't afford Diet pepsi, I don't want to live anyways....

No brand loyalty on diapers here...I like the Wal-Mart and Wegmans (local store) generic brands as well as any brand name I have used, for a heck of a lot less.
But I HAVE to have my Charmin toilet paper. Generic tissues are pretty bad too - usually stick with Puffs, but only on sale or with coupon.

I'm not brand loyal to anything that I can think of. If I need toilet paper, and one brand is cheaper than another brand, I'll get the cheaper brand (after comparing sizes, etc to be sure I'm *really* getting a better deal.)

I find that I save the most money by NOT being brand loyal - especially when it comes to using coupons.

I will try almost anything, hubby is brand loyal. I don't use mustard, ketchup, etc. One thing I do stick to is diet sprite with a mixed drink!

Toilet paper - oh yes. I have to have northern. Anything else and I start getting rashes (that includes namebrands too). I can deal with the cheap nasty stuff at work, but if I tried to use it at home too, it wouldn't be pretty.

Condiments? Mustard is mustard is mustard. I don't eat mayonnaise or ketchup.

I want my Tide. Must have Tide. I am partial to Mount Olive pickles. I try generic products and use them too, coffee creamer for example, I use it everyday and the difference in Sam's Choice and CoffeeMate is not important to me.

Yeah, I have my brand weaknesses. Must have Heinz ketchup. I love Classico spaghetti sauce but am always trying to wean myself off it by buying other brands on sale. Must have Oral B dental floss. Also tofu--it's a staple in our house and I won't buy any brand except Nasoya.

And Macintosh computers. Always more expensive, but I haven't yet been able to talk myself into making the switch to PC. I have to use a PC at work. I want to enjoy myself when I'm working from home, so I always have a Mac at home.

I use Tide and Spray & Wash. No generic barganing on those items. Pampers Baby Dry were my nappies of choice, and Boudreaux's Butt Paste for any potential nappy rashes.
