Commerce Bank has a free coin machine that I use at least once every couple of months. No fees, no account needed. Just put your money in, and take the receipt to the counter. They will give you the cash amount.

My bank charges $5.00 if they have to sort the coins for you using the machine. However, they will accept the coins if you bring them in rolled up. I've just been so lazy that I have not gotten the wrappers yet.
I do have one question for you all though, how often do you guys wrap them up or take them in to be sorted? From what I have read, it seems like most people go in at the end of each month. Do any of you go in more frequently than that? Do any of you wait longer than a month? |

I dont think Coinstar charges for the receipt program it has with its partners. In that case I'm thinking abt saving up my spare change for Borders - IMO one can never have to many books.
Also if the kids are intrested in reading this might be a way to benefit that cause as well! As a kid Waldens was my favorite store - now it takes all my will power to make it out of Borders (getting in the door is the easy part) without spending anything! |
