many freebie sites are 100% affiliate. Some are a mix of affiliates and more unique free items.

I have started a site to bring more of the unique items at blog.thriftytimes.com.

google is good, but again, so many of the sites that have high ranking are affiliate sites. They are pushing what they make money off of, and ignore other great stuff.

I look on google to find coupons, rebate information on company websites for specific products, and free samples from various companies. Google is still the largest search engine and seems to me to bring the best results, compared to Yahoo, etc. I find a lot of good coupons on manufacturers' websites, as well as by searching peoples' blogs, and coupon databases.

I also find a lot of coupons in my Sunday circular in the newspaper. Also, you can look at stores, because sometimes they offer manufacturers' coupons placed near individual products in a little dispensing machine.

Hope that helps. There are MANY other sources than what I discussed, such as websites maintained by individuals that personally do a lot of coupon-collecting as a hobby!!
