Thumbs up Princess - Keep us posted!

Hun:

Keep us posted as your due date approaches. How are you feeling? What is your intuition telling you...will this be an early baby?

Maybe we should start a countdown!

I would love for an early baby! I am bigger and more tired than with either of my other two.

But I highly doubt it. I just hit 32 weeks today and I am a bit more relaxed, I have been a huge worry wort for no good reason, but 32 weeks you hear about lots of babyes surviving at 32 weeks, so I am a bit more relaxed. Not that I want the baby yet! I would prefer full term.

I am not due officially till October 21st, but I also have a US due date of Oct. 12th, I wouldn't mind the 12th!

I learned someting this weekend NEVER go on 'vacation' while 8 months pregnant!

Thanks for checking up on me. I have a Drs apointment next Thursday and it has been sooooo long I want to hear my babys heartbeat!

I would be so happy with the 15th anytime after 37 weeks is cool with me!

It is supposed to be a boy, pretty sure that is right. DS said so the US said so, and I am HOT like with DS . (wasn't to hot with DD)

Thumbs up Re: Princess - Keep us posted!

Boys are the greatest! If I had started my family earlier I would have had a house full of boys. I'm just not the type of mum for girls. And now with CJ, I'm finding that he's equal to an entire footies team all by himself.

My intuition told me when I was just a few weeks in that CJ was a boy. Isn't that fascinating how a mother's inner psyche works at peak performance during pregnancy?

Vacation...Yikes! My legs and feet were too swollen at 8 months to take holiday. Bless your heart.

I have one girl (and a boy) and it is fun to be able to 'fix the hair' or whatever, kindof like a real doll . But she is and will remain I hope a tomboy, couldn't take the 24/7 pinky stuff!

Vacation, well chalk it up to stupidity!

I have all girls-knew from the beginning they would be girls, and they were! My twins are total opposite--one is all pink girly girl, and the other is a rough tough tomboy who thinks dresses are yucky-(except for when one certain little boy is around).

Oh I so dread that age, the grown up enough to notice guys, but still my baby and that guy had better keep his hands off!

But on the other hand I fear for DS at that age too, in todays world poor kid may never get a date, can't compliment a girl without a threat of lawsuit! Less he gets a date from the 'wrong sort' Sigh, can't they stay young and innocent forever?

I fret about CJ falling for a girl that is the "wrong sort". I know he can't stay young and innocent forever, but he can ease into the bad parts of the world at a pace where he dosen't get jaded.

I pray for ALL our little ones that they keep a good attitude without being hurt too badly along the growing path.

I put pig tails in her hair every day and dress her up in pretty dresses, she still lets me now... maybe in the next couple years she'll want to take over, but I'll put up a fight about it!! lol

These days you have to worry about the boy not getting a date...the girls call the boys. :-)
Now concern about the "wrong sort," well that's quite another issue and I'm not sure parents have much to do with it.

I am soo happy that DD has enough hair for pigtails she loves having her hair fixed, course it only stays in if she isn't bored, which means it comes out in the car!

4 more days till I , finally, hear the heartbeat again .

Princess:

I remember that the barometric pressure from storms really affected me while I was carrying CJ. How are you holding up in these storms and bands from what used to be Hurricane Katrina?

Only problem I have is my normally cold blooded body is REALLY HOT! but I think that is pretty normal, though it wasn't so bad with DD, so this is a boy .

I got to hear the heartbeat again , and I actually didn't have the beta test I will do it next week. 6-8 more weeks to go!

Well I seem to be having the sleepless nights already, not doing to well half the time, which is better than all the time!

I have another apointment on Thursday, and I just now figured out why they have my weeks different than I do, but I don't know if they messed up or I did. nowadays EDD is 40 weeks from the start of the LMP, so if I start on Tuesday I would end on Tuesday, but my EDD is the 21st of October, which is a Friday, so either they have my LMP wrong, or I do. (which is not all that unusual, it wasn't a real LMP, it was a miscariage)

Anyway I have to ask about that.

If they did an ultrasound they'll often base your due date on that. Or, if you don't have a 28 day cycle, they'll adjust your EDD for your actual cycle.

Based on the US they said October 12th cause he was big, but I have big babies, so I don't buy it.(8lb13oz, and 8lb1oz -whichis fine for me, but big for normal) Based on a cycle, I haven't had a normal one in 4 years (MCs or deliveries or first after nursing only) Which means ...nothing really, cept the BBY3 will come when he is good and ready!

So I got the due date figured out, sortof. They switched to counting weeks based on the US date, so officially the 12th now.

I also had the beta strep test and again am asking myself why I was bothered! it was nothing, but I disctinctly recall it was bad with my first, so I love my midwife!

I am officially 36 weeks, and realized yesterday, I can't have BBY3 yet, I have to finish christmas shoppong first! I don't want to go with a couple week old, and I don't want to go after Thanksgiving (hate shopping with hoards of people)

Good call on the shopping hun. I wouldn't want to subject a two-week old to the germs among shoppers. Remember how bad RSV is here.

Will keep you in my prayers for a safe and happy delivery!
