I am a big fan of Ebates. Cash back for the items you buy and their tracking system is the best. I do not like Fat Wallet just because a side-by-side comparison of the stores/sites I would care the most about shows that I get more % back through Ebates. Plus Fat Wallet has some tech issues every now and then and support is slow to respond accurately to questions. Mr. Rebates looks good, but you have to earn a higher dollar amount in rebates in order to get a check; plus, I am not convinced that their tracking system is anywhere near as good as Ebates.

I do not like points/rewards programs in general. You hardly ever get good value for what you do/buy to earn them. Especially when compared to cash. I do like Points.com just because you can accumulate airline miles, Greenpoints, etc. and then exchange them for things like gift cards. That's a good concept. Other systems where you shop for points, rewards, etc. in my view, just rob you of opportunities to get cash back through a rebate site.

I'm sure many people do things differently with a different point of view and approach and do just fine and I wouldn't tell anyone to change what works for them. However, it is my personal approach that it is best to get cash back and I prefer to do it through the single site (as opposed to signing up with two or three) that I judge to be the best overall, which, at the present time, is Ebates.

My two cents. To each his own.

I love eBates. For trial memberships, clubs, etc., MyPoints is good. But I'll take CASH BACK from eBates!

I like the surveys E-Rewards offers but their rewards are sooo limited. The only thing I really want or need that they offer is frequent flyer miles, and you're limited to being able to redeem rewards for miles only once per year on any given airline.

Bummer.

i love upromise, but I also use phonehog (for long distance minutes) and timespoints (for credit against my NY times membership). Greenpoints is great if you have a store that accepts them near you.

Something else to consider might be buzzagent; it's a site that rewards you for talking about certain products. I"ve found it to be great fun.
