Default Why do men prefer bad girls?

Hi !

Apart from the fact that opposites attract, why do men prefer 'bad girls'? Is it for the thrill of the forbidden?

Wow, talk about off-topic.

I for one do not prefer "bad girls". In fact, I do not get along with them at all.

I think that's more of a phenomenon with women preferring "bad boys"? Now that is something I would like to know. Why do women prefer "bad boys"?

It depends on what you mean by "bad".

If you mean a really hot body with a loose moral compass, I'd say "hell yes!".

If you mean lying, cheating, stealing, back-stabbing, conniving bitch, I'd say "er, no."

I'm a gal and I'd like to know the same thing, BA...why do women prefer bad boys instead of the nice, dependable guys who are there when you need them? The excitement can't be that gratifying when you are sitting home being forgotten or even abused.

I want a nice girl when company is around, but a bad girl when everyone turns off the lights.

As long as those two girls don't meet, life is perfect.

People fall for bad girls/bad boys because:

1. Bad boys/girls are exiting, at first. If you insist on getting involved with one, fine, have a fling. Just don't marry them and have children with them! (Your children will likely thank you by ditching you into a state-run nursing home, if you're lucky)

2. Bad boys/girls are damn fine actors. They know what is desirable in a lover or life partner and play it to the hilt, relying on people's basic decency to give them the benefit of doubt and believing their never ending lies.

3. In very sad cases, decent individuals were trained to be doormats by their vile abusive parents who threatened children's physical life and drained the children's spiritual life until that child grows up to be a compliant adult who has difficulty knowing right from wrong and self from the other. And then the bad boy or bad girl comes along.....

I've noticed a lot of nice guys with sociopathic wives and good girls with bad husbands. The sociopathic woman hide behind their nice husbands who usually cover up their wives' dastardly deeds. While the s-women snapped up the nice guys, leaving the not-so-nice ones for the good girls who mistake bad boy's arrogance for ambition, verbal abuse for honesty, and aggression for devotion.

I think the bad girls has outgoing personality , so it's more easier to attract the boys than the girls with conservative in the way she dresses.

Oh, it's an internet captcha meme. One of many examples where people mash together quirky, humorous images with often-quoted or popular sayings that's floating around on certain internet communities. The idea is to make a point that's louder, more prominent, and funnier than normal text could ever make.

For example, imagine that the SavingAdvice community has a popular saying, such as, "You need an emergency fund!" And if it's repeated enough or is popular enough, somebody may come up with the bright idea of making a large image for it. So now, if anybody ever asks if they need an emergency fund, you can link them to that image.

Bad girls are more exciting but luckily I was wise enough not to marry one. Being married to one would be about as much fun as a sharp stick in your eye.

By the way this thread is useless without pics.

well that's stereotyping..., i really don't think that is the case here. But then the thing that attacts guys is the element of mystery about the ladies. I mean the moment a gal becomes easy to please she becomes booring..( doesn't apply to everyone but then i am also stereotyping here...). Nobody needs to be bad , all they need to do is remain a bit of an enigma...or mystery.

I think women prefer BAD MEN! They don't think they do, but they can't help but be attracted to this kind of person, even if it's not conscious. They want a man to be a man, or at least that's the primal instinct. The more you try and be nice and wine and dine them, the less attracted to you they become. Weird.. but that's been my experience!
