Default girl scout cookies

So which ones do people like? I got four boxes but I can't seem to decide if I want more.

Oh! Love 'em. Samoa's (Caramel Delights) and Thin Mints are far and away the best ones. And yes, you do want more -- there's no such thing as too many girl scout cookies!

Which makes me want to find a girl scout, or figure out how to order some.... nom nom nom, delicious cookies

I'm a thin mint fan myself. My girls are not scouts this years, so I also need to find a girl scout, too. I do know that our council office sells them at the office after the girls are done with their sales.

I am addicted to thin mints. The Dollar General has a generic copy that is pretty close for half the price.

DD is selling them for the first time--Carmel Delights are a close second to Thin Mints amongst her customers.

Not the answer to your question but a local chef is making brownies with Girl Scout cookies at noon today. Wasn't enough Calories?

I notice Keebler "Grasshoppers" thin mint cookies have been on sale ever since the first of the year. Direct competition to Gorl Scout cookies?

Go with the Thin Mints! LOL I get at least 3 boxes every spring! A great tip is to put them in the freezer for a couple hours! They are amazing cold! Try it! I promise your life will be changed!

I love the peanut butter ones. Going to have to try the thin mint freezer idea, though!

I noticed that around here, too. I've always loved Thin Mints, so I was thrilled when I discovered Grasshoppers. Now I don't have to buy a year's worth of TMs during cookie season. *lol*

are do-si-dos the peanut butter ones? Those and trefoils, the shortbread cookies, are amazing. I like to freeze them and eat them cold. Call me weird, but it's a pretty special experience.

Alot of girl scout cookie sellers don't like this iformation to be made public but it's a fact that the Keebler company shuts down their entire plant for 1 whole month a year as they are one of the main suppliers of girl scout cookies. That's why the mint grasshoppers taste just like thin mints and if you've notice they have a cookie, can't recall the name, but it's exactly the same as the samoas. And keebler is much cheaper than girl scout cookies. I did my due diligence to support the scouts and bought my usual 10 boxes but I also am going to keep in mind that I can now get them all year round from keebler

If you really really want to support your local troop (speaking as a troop leader), take that $30-$40 that you buy cookies with and give that directly to your troop in the form of a check. The troop gets the entire amount. When we sell cookies we get only 50 cents a box, or $5 off of your 10 boxes.

You can not claim cookies on taxes, but a straight donation you can. We have a diabetic man that gives us $$ each year, to go towards someones camp fees that otherwise may not be able to go to camp. He gets a donation credit, girl gets camp, and he saves his blood sugar!
