I have now earned around $100 from my homeschooling farm blog. It is through blogspot. Everytime someone clicks on an ad, I earn a few cents.
Trouble is, I can't figure out how to get the money!! Google says I have to enter my pin that they sent me, but its a 4 digit pin. The system says it has to be a 5 digit pin...so, I keep going in this circle. Oh well, I do the blog for fun, not for money, but the money would be nice. So, I just shot off ANOTHER email to customer support. Wish me luck. Sorry, but I just had to vent a little |

Wow, $100 a few cents at a time. That's great. Hope you get some help with that pin.

Just an idea, but perhaps you could find a number for them and just ask them to create a new 5-digit PIN for you?
The idea of earning money through clickable ad-space has always been interesting to me. I'm always curious to know how much of that actually leads to sales for the company.

When I was perusing the adsense support boards a while back there were a lot of complaints from people who were not able to collect their money once they reached the $100 payout amount. Hope you can collect your loot!

No, I did not advertise it. It just happened. My understanding is that you can't tell people to click on it, or they will cut you off.
Most of my ads however, deal with farming, homeschooling or being thrifty. I have it set so that the ads feed off of my key words. So, the people who read my blog are already somewhat interested in the subjects advertised. |
