Default Clicking the Down Arrow to Read News Posts Shows First Post Instead?

Does anyone else have this problem?

When I visit the site, I click the New Posts link and see a list of all the topics with new posts.

Then I click the down arrow next to the thread title, which with most message boards allows one to view the first new post. With Saving Advice's forums, when I click the arrow it shows me the first post of the thread instead of the first new post.

I deleted cookies but it didn't solve the problem. I'm using Safari for Mac, latest version.

Anyone else experiencing this?

The down arrow takes you to the last post you read in the thread. So if you haven't read the thread at all and a thread gets a new post on it, the down arrow is still going to take you to the beginning of the thread.
