Default Beware of the doghouse

Take heed, men! Take heed! This is, by far, the scariest thing I've ever seen!

I got a link to that (It is a J.C. Penny ad) with one of Penny's email ads. I wouldn't usually even click on something like that, but for no particular reason I did that time. Husband came along to watch it with me. He thought it was pretty funny.

We watched it the other night. Very funny.

I like it, except I'm not the fine jewelry type of gal. I'd rather just get a gift certificate to amazon.com, or better yet, just give me the money!

Well, I tell you what I learned:

Gym membership = NO
Spa membership = YES

I hope you learned that vacuums are a no no, too.

Right, no dual bags. I mean, uh, no single bags either. What about a cool, bagless Dyson?

No, wait! I mean... I mean to say that... if you don't mind me using that to vacuum the floors of the brand new cozy home?

Did I make it?

The funny thing is my wife and I often exchange practical gifts. One year she got a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Another year a Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum. I got a chefs knife for Valentine's Day once. We bought pots and pans for ourselves for Chanukah a couple of years ago. Even this year, I got her two Calphalon frying pans and she got me a stapler and ink refills for the pens I use. The doghouse won't be seeing me, though.

I bought DH coveralls for Christmas one year (when we were still dating), and he bought me work boots for my birthday one year.
