"U.S. spells out warning to Iraq if agreement on American forces fails", from the Kansas City Star.
Troubling report I stumbled upon. I know this is a highly politicized and opinionated topic, but I thought it might be of note to bring up with everyone.
Anyone's comments are welcome, though personally I would prefer that they stay generally
non-partisan...
This concerns me a great deal. Yes, Iraq has made significant strides forward in recent months/years. However, by nearly all reports (to include their own ministry), they are not yet capable of ensuring the safety and stability of their own nation completely un-aided. To be left completely alone, as the non-passage of this agreement would lead to, Iraq and the region as a whole would be left vulnerable, chaotic, and in extreme danger of internal collapse.
