Makes you wonder how they clean the bathtub, toilet, and the sheets.

Oh yeah, seen that a while back. I've never drank from a hotel glass, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I won't be doing that... ever!

Most of the hotel glasses I have used were disposable and wrapped in plastic....

I never use the ice bucket either. I often wonder what they use to wipe them out! Now, I am questioning the coffee makers.....

Ewww...the absolute worst was using a dirty washcloth to dry the glasses!

Some people already arrive at hotels/motels all outfitted with their own blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, washcloths, Lysol, shower shoes and, more recently, probably anti-bedbug insecticides. Now I guess cups, ice buckets, and coffee pots are on the must bring list.

This is like renting a rainproof ceiling under which to camp. Although, come to think of it, I've been in a number of motels where the ceiling is suspiciously water-stained, so I'm not sure one shouldn't also bring along a well-sealed tent.

Well that was nauseating! So in view of that germ story here is another. How sure are you the sheets are freshly changed? I saw a story about this and some of the stories said simply if they did not see anything nasty they just re-tucked and moved on!!

Oh, I've seen this! Don't these places have kitchens where they can atleast take the glasses down to the diswasher? Better than using windex to clean them

I'm sure we ingest things that are even more disgusting every single time we go out to a resturant!
