Electric co ops

Im am so frustrated!!! I have electric co op. Im sure uve seen the commercials for benifiting from them, but it is total bs!!! They rarely make profit so they say, so u dont get paid, whenever theres something that needs fixing, all the customers split the cost. I didnt have air last month, I had to wait for a repairman, cause theres so much new construction, so no air, no a/c, i wash clothes in a front loader with cold water, my cook stove is propane, and i replaced all my house bulbs with the curly ones, YET MY BILL THIS MONTH WAS 286.00!!!!! my water is set on medium. our co op does not have peak or off peak hours, and refuse to check our meter out? does anyone know of some federal law that i can use to make these peeps do thier job??????????? FRUSTRATED!!! its called REA or dunklin pemiscott co op. In 13 years, ive only recieved a profit share check of 19 dollars. So just an insight, if your moving? Check into what electric you will have there. coops are waste of good money over bad. Its my only choice here, unless i get some solar, which if i did, im sure they would find a way to increase my bill anyway, ive done everything i can do to lessen my bills and they keep going up! all my appliances are brand new! all energy star!
