Default "On Being Hard Up"

Jerome K. Jerome was an English writer/humorist of the late 19th/early 20th century. In his collection of essays Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow he has a delightful little essay entitled "On Being Hard Up." The whole essay is here -- http://www.literaturepage.com/read/idlethoughts-23.html

Delightful for evening or weekend reading.

Interesting article. I wonder if the late victorian era was any better than our days of easy credit.
